HistoryPrison Break is a genial, engaging and intriguing series where all action happens in a U.S. prison. The suspense and tension presented by this TV series shows that the world within a prison if much more complex than we all imagine. The frames that are being created between the characters are spectacular, creating a network of intrigues and betrayals rarely seen on television.
The cast was carefully chosen and everyone has the ideal role. A series where there are no real heroes or villains are probably the greatest qualities of this series a success everywhere it's seen hipnotyzing the viewers in a way that we rarelly see on TV. The only thing that could be improved would be the soundtrack but even here its a question of style choice because Prison Break prefers to focus images and and live prison sound.
The main character, Michael Scofield is a desperate man in an extreme situation. His brother, Lincoln Burrows is on death row and will be executed after being convicted of a murder that Michael is convinced that Lincoln did not commit. Without options and without much time, Michael robs a bank and gets arrested and taken to the state penitentiary Fox River, the same place where his brother is fulfilling penalty. Once inside, Michael (a civil engineer with the plants from prison and with intelligence well above average) begins to execute an elaborate plan to free Lincoln and prove his innocence. | |
